geothermal heating and cooling
Geothermal heating and cooling utilize the stable temperature of the Earth’s subsurface to regulate indoor comfort. During winter, a geothermal system extracts heat from the ground, where temperatures remain relatively constant below the surface, and transfers it into the building. In summer, the process reverses, removing heat from the building and dissipating it into the cooler earth. This efficiency is achieved through a network of underground pipes connected to a heat pump, providing a sustainable alternative to conventional HVAC systems by reducing energy consumption and greenhouse emissions.
