Georgeism
Georgeism is an economic philosophy named after economist Henry George, who believed that while individuals should own property and benefit from their work, the natural resources and land should be shared collectively. He argued that land and natural resources are common heritage, and increasing land value should benefit society as a whole through tools like land value taxes. This approach aims to reduce economic inequality, control speculation, and promote fairer distribution of wealth, while still allowing private ownership and enterprise.
