George Simon Ohm

George Simon Ohm was a German physicist who, in 1827, discovered the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance in electrical circuits. He found that the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the voltage across it and inversely proportional to its resistance. This fundamental principle is known as Ohm’s Law, expressed as I = V / R, where I is current, V is voltage, and R is resistance. His work helped us understand how electrical circuits behave, forming the basis for designing everything from household wiring to complex electronic devices.
