
George Cadle Price
George Cadle Price was a prominent Belizean politician, often called the "Father of Belizean Independence." He played a key role in leading the country toward self-governance, serving as its first Prime Minister from 1981 when Belize gained independence until 1984. Throughout his career, he worked to promote national unity, economic development, and democratic governance. As a founding member of the People's United Party, he is remembered for his leadership in shaping Belize’s political landscape and securing its independence from British colonial rule.
