G.W.F. Hegel was a 19th-century German philosopher known for his complex ideas about reality, history, and thought. He believed that everything is interconnected and that reality develops through a process of conflict and resolution called dialectics. Hegel argued that ideas and history progress toward greater understanding and freedom by resolving contradictions.
