Georg Elser
Georg Elser was a German carpenter who, in 1939, secretly planned and carried out an assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler and Nazi leaders at a Munich beer hall. His goal was to stop the Nazi regime before it could fully take hold. Although his bomb failed to kill Hitler, Elser's actions demonstrated profound courage and resistance against tyranny. He was captured, imprisoned, and eventually executed in 1945. Today, Elser is remembered as a symbol of individual bravery and moral resistance to oppressive regimes.
