Geoffrey Plantagenet

Geoffrey Plantagenet (1134–1186) was a prominent English nobleman and the Duke of Brittany. He was the youngest son of King Henry II of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine. Geoffrey played a key role in the politics of his time, notably through his marriage to Constance of Brittany, which solidified his family's influence in the region. He became involved in various conflicts, particularly regarding claims to the English throne. Geoffrey's lineage continued to impact European politics, as he was the father of John, the future King of England, and Richard I, also known as Richard the Lionheart.
