Genesis (Bible)

The Book of Genesis is the first book of the Bible, describing the origins of the world, humanity, and key early history. It narrates how God created the universe, Earth, plants, animals, and humans—Adam and Eve—in six days. It includes stories of their early lives, their fall into sin, and subsequent consequences. Genesis also covers important events like Noah's Ark and the great flood, the Tower of Babel, and the beginnings of the patriarchs—Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and Joseph—who are foundational to understanding the rest of the biblical narrative.
