Generalization

Generalization in the context of general knowledge refers to the process of taking specific observations or experiences and drawing broader conclusions or principles from them. It allows us to apply what we've learned in one situation to others that are similar. For example, if we notice that a particular plant grows well in sunlight, we might generalize that many plants prefer sunlight. This ability helps us make sense of the world, form expectations, and make decisions based on existing knowledge, even when we encounter new situations or information.
