Generalitat

The Generalitat is the governing institution of Catalonia, an autonomous region in northeastern Spain. It includes the regional government and its parliament, responsible for managing local policies, education, health, and cultural affairs within Catalonia. The Generalitat has a degree of political and administrative independence from the Spanish central government, with its own elected leaders.
