Genders and sexuality
Gender refers to the social and cultural roles, behaviors, and identities associated with being male, female, or elsewhere on the gender spectrum. It goes beyond biological sex, encompassing how individuals see themselves and express themselves. Sexuality involves a person’s emotional, romantic, and sexual attractions to others, which can vary widely. People may identify as heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, or asexual, among other orientations. Both gender and sexuality are fluid aspects of identity, and understanding them helps foster respect and inclusivity for diverse experiences and expressions.
