Gender Duality

Gender duality refers to the idea that gender exists primarily as two opposite, distinct categories: male and female. It suggests that individuals are naturally aligned with one of these two genders based on biological or societal norms. While this concept has historically shaped how societies understand gender, it is increasingly recognized that gender can be more complex, with many people experiencing a range of identities beyond just male or female. Gender duality simplifies gender to two options, but contemporary understanding acknowledges a spectrum of gender experiences.
