Gema Expectasi
GEMA Expectasi, or GEMA's Expectancy theory, relates to how individuals' beliefs about the outcomes of their actions influence their motivation. It suggests that a person’s effort depends on how much they value the potential reward (Valence), their confidence that effort will lead to success (Expectancy), and their belief that success will bring the reward (Instrumentality). In essence, motivation increases when people see that their effort will likely result in valued results. This theory helps explain why understanding these perceptions is important for encouraging productive behavior and performance.
