Gauthama Buddha

Gauthama Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, was a spiritual teacher and founder of Buddhism who lived around the 5th to 6th century BCE in ancient India. He sought to understand the causes of human suffering and how to overcome it. After intense meditation, he attained enlightenment, realizing that suffering arises from desire and attachment. His teachings focus on ethical conduct, mental discipline, and wisdom, emphasizing mindfulness and compassion. Buddhists honor him as the Buddha, meaning "The Enlightened One," whose insights provide a path toward inner peace and liberation from the cycle of birth and death (samsara).
