Gaugino

A gaugino is a theoretical particle predicted by certain physics models, specifically supersymmetry. Think of it as a partner to the force-carrying particles, like the photon or gluon, which are responsible for fundamental forces such as electromagnetism and the strong force. Gauginos are fermions — meaning they follow certain quantum rules — and each type of gauge particle has a corresponding gaugino, such as the bino (for the U(1) gauge symmetry), winos (for the weak force), and gluinos (for the strong force). These particles help balance the equations in supersymmetry theories and could help explain mysteries like dark matter.
