Gassnova

Gassnova is a Norwegian government agency responsible for advancing research, development, and innovation in carbon capture and storage (CCS) technologies. Its goal is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from industrial processes and energy production by capturing carbon dioxide before it enters the atmosphere, then storing it underground safely. Gassnova supports projects, provides funding, and collaborates internationally to develop effective CCS solutions. This work helps Norway meet its climate targets and contributes to global efforts to combat climate change by enabling industries to lower their carbon footprint sustainably.
