Gasification Technology
Gasification technology is a process that converts solid carbon-based materials, like coal, biomass, or waste, into a synthetic gas called syngas. This is done by heating these materials at high temperatures in a low-oxygen environment, which breaks them down into gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide. Syngas can then be used to generate electricity, produce fuels, or create chemicals. Gasification offers a cleaner alternative to traditional combustion, as it allows for better control of emissions and the utilization of various feedstocks for sustainable energy production.
