Gasification Process

Gasification is a process that converts organic materials like coal, biomass, or waste into a clean, combustible gas called syngas by heating them at high temperatures with limited oxygen. This reaction breaks down complex carbon compounds into simpler gases such as carbon monoxide, hydrogen, and carbon dioxide. The resulting syngas can be used to generate electricity, produce fuels, or as a chemical feedstock. Gasification is considered a more efficient and environmentally friendly way to utilize carbon-rich materials compared to direct combustion, as it produces fewer pollutants and allows for easier capture of carbon emissions.
