Gaseous Nitrogen

Gaseous nitrogen is nitrogen in its gaseous state, making up about 78% of Earth's atmosphere. It is an inert, colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas that doesn’t easily react with other substances. Because of its stability, nitrogen is widely used in industrial applications such as creating an inert atmosphere for preserving food, manufacturing electronics, and in welding to prevent oxidation. It’s also essential for living organisms, as nitrogen is a key element in amino acids and proteins. Despite being abundant, gaseous nitrogen is non-reactive and must be converted into usable forms for biological or industrial use.
