Garab Dorje

Garab Dorje is considered the first human teacher of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism, originating in the 8th century. He is regarded as a visionary master who transmitted the essential teachings of Dzogchen, the profound path to realizing one's innate divine nature. Garab Dorje's instructions emphasize direct, experiential insight into the nature of mind, beyond conceptualization. His teachings laid the foundation for subsequent generations of practitioners and scholars, aiming to help individuals recognize their true nature and achieve spiritual awakening through immediate awareness and inner realization.
