Ganzfeld experiments
Ganzfeld experiments are a type of study designed to test for extrasensory perception (ESP), like telepathy. Participants are placed in a comfortable, sensory-reduced environment—usually with mild visual and auditory stimuli—to minimize distractions. A sender tries to transmit images or thoughts to a receiver who is isolated from external cues. Afterward, the receiver reports what they perceived, and their responses are compared to the intended target. The goal is to determine if the receiver can accurately perceive information without using ordinary senses, testing the possibility of mind-to-mind communication.
