Gangaur

Gangaur is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated mainly in Rajasthan, India, honoring Goddess Gauri, a form of Parvati, the consort of Lord Shiva. It marks the arrival of spring and women’s devotion to the goddess for prosperity, health, and marital bliss. During the festival, women dress in vibrant attire, participate in processions, and offer prayers and rituals, often depicting Gauri’s virtues.
