Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program
The Gang Resistance Education and Training (G.R.E.A.T.) Program is a school-based initiative designed to prevent youth involvement in gangs and violence. Law enforcement officers partner with schools to deliver lessons on decision-making, peer pressure, conflict resolution, and the consequences of gang activity. The program aims to build positive relationships between students and officers, promote leadership skills, and encourage healthy, violence-free lifestyles. G.R.E.A.T. seeks to empower young people with knowledge and skills to make safe choices and avoid risking their futures through gang participation.
