Gamuts

A gamut refers to the complete range of colors that a device, like a printer, monitor, or camera, can reproduce or capture. Think of it as the device’s color palette. Different devices have different gamuts, meaning some colors may look vivid on one device but appear dull or unprintable on another. When creating or sharing images, understanding gamuts helps ensure your colors appear consistent across various screens and print outputs. Essentially, it's the boundary within which a device can operate with colors, defining the possible hues it can display or reproduce.
