Galaxies

Galaxies are vast systems consisting of billions to trillions of stars, along with gas, dust, dark matter, and other celestial objects, all bound together by gravity. They come in various shapes, such as spiral, elliptical, and irregular forms. Galaxies can be tiny, dwarf galaxies or enormous ones like our Milky Way. They are the fundamental building blocks of the universe, containing the materials necessary for star and planet formation. Galaxies often cluster together in groups and clusters, forming a cosmic web that reveals the large-scale structure of the universe.
