Gagik I

Gagik I was a prominent medieval Armenian ruler who reigned as King of Kakheti in eastern Georgia from 1029 to 1058. Known for strengthening his kingdom, he promoted cultural growth and maintained political stability during a turbulent period. His leadership helped protect Armenia and eastern Georgia from external threats and fostered alliances through marriage and diplomacy.
