GAFCON
GAFCON, which stands for the Global Anglican Future Conference, is a movement within the Anglican Communion that brings together churches and leaders who share conservative beliefs, especially on issues like scripture authority and human sexuality. It was formed in 2008 as a response to theological disagreements and to promote traditional Christian teachings. GAFCON seeks to unify like-minded Anglican Christians worldwide, encouraging faithfulness to biblical doctrine and providing an alternative to more liberal expressions within the Anglican tradition. It functions as a global network aiming to strengthen orthodox Anglican identity and mission.
