Gaetan D'Alembert was a French mathematician, physicist, and philosopher of the 18th century, best known for his role in developing the "Seven Liberties" of the Enlightenment and his contributions to mechanics and fluid dynamics. He co-founded the influential scientific journal "Encyclopédie," which aimed to compile and disseminate knowledge.
