GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a mental health condition characterized by persistent and excessive worry about daily events or activities, often lasting for months. People with GAD find it difficult to control their anxiety, and it may interfere with their daily life, mood, and even physical health. Common symptoms include restlessness, feeling tense or on edge, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, irritability, muscle tension, and sleep problems. While occasional worry is normal, GAD involves ongoing, disproportionate concern that can be challenging to manage without treatment such as therapy, medication, or support strategies.
