GAC Filtration Systems
GAC (Granular Activated Carbon) filtration systems use porous charcoal to remove impurities from water. The activated carbon’s large surface area attracts and traps contaminants such as chlorine, bad odors, chemicals, and certain organic compounds. As water passes through the GAC media, these impurities are effectively reduced, improving water taste and safety. GAC filters are commonly used in residential and commercial settings to enhance water quality, especially for drinking water, by targeting substances that traditional filters may not effectively remove. Regular replacement of the carbon media is necessary to maintain optimal filtration performance.
