G8 Summits
G8 Summits are annual meetings where leaders from eight of the world's largest advanced economies—Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia (until 2014), the United Kingdom, and the United States—gather to discuss major global issues. These issues include economic stability, security, climate change, and international development. The summits provide a platform for leaders to share ideas, coordinate policies, and work collaboratively to address challenges that affect the global community. Although the G8 no longer includes Russia since 2014, the forum continues to play a significant role in shaping international cooperation.
