FX (Effects)
FX, short for effects, refers to the techniques and processes used to create visual or audio enhancements in movies, television, and other media. This includes special effects (SFX), which are practical effects created on set, like explosions or makeup effects, and digital effects (VFX), which are generated using computer software to add or alter images and sounds. FX helps to tell stories in more engaging ways, making fantastical elements believable and enhancing the overall viewer experience. Examples include CGI creatures, simulated weather, and sound design that adds depth to scenes.
