Future Library

Future Library is a creative project in Oslo, Norway, where authors, artists, and thinkers contribute works meant to be read or experienced decades later. Starting in 2014, a new book or piece is added annually, but all are kept sealed and unpublished until the year 2114. The collection is stored in a special library designed to preserve these works long-term, inspiring future generations to explore the ideas and stories created today. It’s a unique blend of art, literature, and time, encouraging reflection on the future and our impact on it.
