Functional Alcoholic

A functional alcoholic is someone who struggles with alcohol dependence but manages to maintain daily responsibilities like work, family, and social activities. They often appear outwardly normal and successful, masking their reliance on alcohol behind a composed exterior. Despite their external functioning, they may experience internal struggles, health issues, or emotional difficulties related to drinking.
