FUNCINPEC
FUNCINPEC (National United Front for an Independent, Neutral, Peaceful, and Cooperative Cambodia) is a Cambodian political party founded in 1981. It was created as a royalist and nationalist movement aiming to restore the monarchy and promote national unity. Throughout Cambodia's turbulent history, FUNCINPEC played a significant role in the peace process and power-sharing arrangements, including ruling jointly with other parties. It is known for its association with Prince Norodom Sihanouk, who led the party for many years. Today, FUNCINPEC remains an influential political force, advocating for national stability, development, and constitutional monarchy.
