full-scale IQ

Full-scale IQ is a standardized score that represents a person's overall cognitive ability, derived from tests measuring various mental skills such as reasoning, problem-solving, memory, and verbal comprehension. It provides an estimate of intellectual functioning compared to a normative population of the same age. A normal IQ score is around 100, with most people scoring between 85 and 115. While insightful, IQ is just one indicator of intelligence and does not encompass all qualities like creativity, emotional understanding, or practical skills.
