Fukuoka Castle

Fukuoka Castle, also known as Maizuru Castle, was a historic Japanese fortress built in the early 17th century in Fukuoka City. Originally constructed by Kuroda Nagamasa, it served as a defensive and administrative center during the Edo period. Although the main structures were destroyed over time, the site remains significant as a symbol of the region’s history. Today, the castle's ruins and surrounding parks offer visitors a glimpse into Japan’s feudal past, with picturesque views, stone walls, and remnants that highlight traditional Japanese castle architecture.
