fuel cell vehicles
Fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) are a type of electric vehicle that use hydrogen as fuel. Instead of relying on a battery alone, FCVs combine hydrogen with oxygen from the air in a fuel cell to produce electricity. This electricity powers an electric motor, propelling the vehicle. The only byproduct of this process is water vapor, making FCVs environmentally friendly. They can be refueled quickly at hydrogen stations, similar to traditional gasoline vehicles, and offer a longer driving range compared to some battery-electric cars. Though still developing in infrastructure and production, FCVs represent a promising alternative energy solution.
