Fu Hao

Fu Hao was a powerful ancient Chinese woman during the late Shang Dynasty (c. 1250 BCE). She was a military leader, priestess, and royal wife of King Wu Ding. Known for her exceptional role in both religious rituals and warfare, Fu Hao led armies into battle and oversaw important state ceremonies. Her tomb, discovered in the 20th century, contained invaluable artifacts, including weapons, jewelry, and inscriptions, revealing her significant status and influence.
