FTC Team

An FTC (FIRST Tech Challenge) Team is a group of students who collaboratively design, build, and program small robots to complete specific tasks and challenges. Sponsored by organizations like FIRST, these teams promote STEM education, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Students work together, often with adult mentors, to develop their devices and strategies through a structured competition season. The team environment encourages innovation, technical learning, and leadership, while participating in local and national events to showcase their work and compete against others.
