FSA (Free Syrian Army)

The Free Syrian Army (FSA) is a loosely organized rebel group formed around 2011 by Syrian military defectors and civilians during the Syrian civil war. Its goal was to oppose the government of Bashar al-Assad, advocating for democratic reforms and resistance against authoritarian rule. The FSA operated as a coalition of various factions with differing ideologies, primarily conducting military actions against Assad’s forces.
