Frontal Dementia

Frontal dementia, also known as frontotemporal dementia, is a brain condition that mainly affects the front and side areas of the brain responsible for behavior, personality, and decision-making. It often causes changes in personality, difficulty with social interactions, and challenges with planning or organizing. Unlike other dementias that primarily impact memory, frontal dementia's early symptoms usually involve personality shifts, confusion, or inappropriate behavior. It is a progressive disease, meaning symptoms gradually worsen over time, and currently has no cure. The condition primarily affects middle-aged and older adults and requires specialized care to manage symptoms.
