Frizzled

Frizzled is a type of protein found on the surface of cells that acts as a receptor in a signaling pathway known as the Wnt pathway. Think of it as a lock on the cell’s surface that binds specific "keys" (Wnt proteins), which then triggers a series of internal signals.
