Freytag’s Pyramid, also known as Freytag's Triangle, is a way to understand the structure of a story. It shows five key parts: exposition (introduction of characters and setting), rising action (events that create suspense), climax (the story’s most intense moment), falling action (events after the climax leading to resolution), and denouement or resolution (final wrap-up). This model helps writers and readers see how a story builds tension, reaches a peak, and then resolves, providing a clear framework for storytelling that emphasizes organization and emotional impact.
