Freud's theories
Freud's theories suggest that our minds have three parts: the conscious (aware thoughts), the unconscious (deeply hidden feelings and memories), and the preconscious (things we can recall easily). He believed our behaviors are influenced by unconscious desires and conflicts, especially from childhood. The mind also contains three elements: the id (instinctual drives), the ego (rational self), and the superego (moral standards). These parts often interact, sometimes causing internal conflicts that can shape our personality and behaviors. Freud emphasized that understanding these underlying mental processes helps explain human thoughts, feelings, and actions.
