Freud's Structural Model

Freud's Structural Model describes the mind as composed of three parts: the id, ego, and superego. The id is the basic, instinctual part driven by to satisfy desires and needs. The ego acts as the rational thinker, balancing these desires with reality, making decisions that are practical. The superego represents our morals and values, guiding us to behave ethically. These three parts interact constantly, shaping our behaviors, thoughts, and feelings. Understanding this model helps explain why people sometimes act impulsively, morally, or logically, depending on which part is dominant at a given moment.
