Freud

Sigmund Freud was a neurologist and psychiatrist who founded psychoanalysis, a method for understanding the human mind and behavior. He proposed that our personality is shaped by unconscious thoughts, feelings, and desires, often rooted in early childhood experiences. Freud identified three main parts of the mind: the id (instinctual drives), the ego (rational decision-maker), and the superego (moral standards). He believed that unconscious conflicts among these parts influence our actions, often leading to psychological struggles. Freud's theories have significantly influenced psychology, highlighting the importance of unconscious processes and early experiences in shaping who we are.
