French Armed Forces

The French Armed Forces consist of four main branches: the Army, Navy, Air and Space Force, and the Missile Defense and Strategic Nuclear Forces. They are responsible for national defense, military operations, and international peacekeeping missions. The Army handles land-based operations; the Navy manages maritime security and naval warfare; the Air and Space Force conducts aerial defense and surveillance; and the missile forces maintain nuclear deterrence. The French military is professional, technologically advanced, and capable of both defensive and offensive operations, often participating in international coalitions and peacekeeping efforts.
