Fregeanism
Fregeanism is a philosophical approach originating from logician Gottlob Frege, emphasizing that the meaning of a statement depends on the sense (concept or thought) and the reference (actual object or truth value). It distinguishes between how we present information (sense) and what the information is about (reference). For example, different expressions can have the same reference but different senses. Fregeanism underlies much of modern logic and philosophy of language by analyzing how thoughts are structured and how language conveys meaning beyond mere words.
