Freeholder

A freeholder is someone who owns a property and the land it sits on outright, without any mortgage or leasehold interest. This ownership gives them full control over their property for an indefinite period, including the right to sell, rent, or develop it, subject to local laws and regulations. Essentially, a freeholder has permanent ownership that isn’t conditional on any lease or rental agreement, making them the true owner of the land and structure.
